Objective: This paper explores the mechanism of acupuncture treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) by using bioinformatics and network acupuncture. Methods: The targets of acupuncture points were obtained through literature retrieval, PCOS-related targets were obtained through Genecards database, and the common targets of acupoints and PCOS were obtained using Wayne tool. The "acupoint-common target" interaction network was constructed, the target protein interaction network was constructed using STRING database and Cytoscape visualization tool, and the common targets were enriched using Metascape database. RESULTS: 103 acupoint targets were obtained, 67 common targets of acupoints and PCOS were obtained, and 14 core targets were screened out after network topology attribute analysis. CONCLUSIONS: The 14 core targets include: IL6, TGFB1, EGFR, AKT1, LEP, BCL2, ESR1, IRS1, CXCL12, IL1B, MTOR, IGF1, PPARG and FOXO1. The common targets mainly involve HIF-1 signaling pathway, PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, etc. |
